Shipping Standard Shipping and Processing

Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate our company for processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase, delivering them to you, and covering related overhead. If there is a delay, we will notify you by mail or email. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. Items shipped to Alaska and US Territories are delivered by UPS or USPS at our regular shipping and processing fees, with an additional charge of $10. Some heavy or over-sized items cannot be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.

Refunds and Exchanges

We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement, or the repair and return of damaged merchandise.

Au Courant Interiors LLC has a NO REFUND policy for all custom order lighting, sea-glass or gemstone lighting products under the Au Courant Interiors LLC brand. All sales are final. There are no refunds for lighting, chandeliers, or pendant lights deemed custom, special order, monogrammed, or containing specialty materials, using sea-glass, precious metals, semi-precious gems or crystals. Au Courant Interiors LLC retains the right to designate and assign custom order status to any lighting products or orders sold by Au Courant Interiors LLC, or featured on the www.AuCourant-Interiors.com website.

Au Courant Interiors LLC offers a 30 day return policy on standard lighting products and products under the Wyte Owl lighting brand.

Refund Policy Details.

  • Time - refund will be issued immediately upon receipt of merchandise within the 30 day return policy if the above terms are met, and return is approved by Au Courant Interiors LLC.
  • Method of refund -  same form of payment used.
  • Product condition - The item must be new in box/unopened/like new in order to return.

  • Additional Charges - Return label will be provided for return shipping, a restocking fee of 25% will be charged if the return is approved.


Purchaser is solely responsible for:

Choices made regarding color, size, or items purchased.

Carefully evaluating the attributes of all Au Courant Interiors site offerings and products to ensure they meet the exact specifications you are looking for.
Not allowing children or other unauthorized family members or friends to access your credit cards or your account at the payment site to ensure that no one pays for a purchase without your express permission.

Exceptions made on a case by case basis to the No Refund policy are made for the following reasons:

Product was damaged in transit.
Product did not arrive (in transit, or lost by carrier).
As otherwise required by law (e.g., in certain jurisdictions, where a 7-day grace period on distance purchases is mandated).
What to do if your purchase doesn't arrive or arrives in less than perfect condition?
Au Courant Interiors agrees to repair and replace merchandise at no additional cost to the customer.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, custom, or special-order items and custom orders, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items/sale items.

Due to the handmade nature of the products on Au Courant Interiors, items may slightly vary. Just like you, handmade items are unique and special in a way that is all their own. All Au Courant Interiors Chandeliers are consider custom / specialty products

  Au Courant Interiors Custom Design Fee Policy

  1. Pricing Model Change: We are shifting our pricing model from Percent of Project Cost to a new structure based on the size of the chandelier fixture in square inches. This policy aims to deliver the utmost transparency and fairness to our valued clients.
  2. Design Fee Calculation: Our design fees are now calculated at a rate of $0.42 per square inch of the proposed chandelier design. This includes up to two revisions, complete design drawing, sections, construction, and call-outs. For example, a chandelier with dimensions 8' height x 4' diameter = 96" x 48" = 4608 square inches will be billed as $0.42 per square inch, leading to a design fee of $1,935.36.
  3. Inclusions: The design fee includes the development and finalization of shop drawings, samples of the finish, and chandelier bead material (like glass beads or wooden beads).
  4. Design Hour Allocation: The design fee, calculated as described above, entitles the client to a predetermined number of design hours. For instance, $1,935.36 corresponds to 37.22 design hours.
  5. Overage Fees: If a client exhausts their allocated design hours, additional hours will be billed at a rate of $52.00 per hour.
  6. Exceptional Circumstances: In the event that design specifications or requirements change substantially after commencement, requiring an extension of design hours beyond the initial estimation, the client will be notified for approval before proceeding.
  7. Payment Policy: A deposit of 50% of the total design fee is required to commence the project, with the balance due upon delivery of the final design.
  8. Refund Policy: Due to the bespoke nature of our services, we do not offer refunds once design work has commenced. In exceptional circumstances, partial refunds may be considered at our discretion.
  9. Revision Policy: The design fee includes up to two revisions. Additional revisions beyond the allocated amount will be billed separately.


Terms & Conditions: All clients are required to agree to these terms and conditions before commencing a design project with Au Courant Interiors.

Au Courant Interiors will not be responsible for damages to merchandise or property during installation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event and under
no legal theory, with respect to claims for breach of contract and each other’s
property damage, neither Party and their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries
shall be responsible to the other for

 punitive or exemplary losses or damages,
 or any liability for loss of revenue,
 loss of profit,
 loss of product,
 loss of replacement power or business interruption,
 loss of business opportunity,
